National Funding Applications

As Sponsored Research Office, we provide matchmaking, follow-up and project development services for Koç University researchers to benefit from the research and innovation support of national donors. For final project applications, in coordination with the Technology Transfer Office, we support the researchers in arranging the budget and other administrative elements of the application in accordance with the sponsor’s requirements.

There are three main grant support systems that most frequently receive funding at Koç University, and these are also the ones that stand out in the national grantscape: TUBITAK system, TUSEB’s health-focused calls, and ISTKA’s annual Financial Support Program and other funding tools.

How can we work together?

• Koç University faculty members and other researchers: You can share with us your funding needs for your research group in connection to TUBITAK, TUSEB, ISTKA and similar national systems. Together we can evaluate which programs in the national system are more suitable for your ideas and needs. We can inform you about any national schemes in detail. If you are developing a proposal for a national scheme, please contact SRO at least a few weeks before the deadline.
• External stakeholders: You can contact us about collaborations in a call you are interested in, about invitations to consortia and discuss with us any other business development cases with Koç University research groups.
